Understanding influences and asserting yourself
This learning and evaluation situation helps students understand the impact various influences have on them and teaches them to identify different ways to take a stand and assert themselves clearly.Students are encouraged to question themselves about influences and assertiveness. They then discuss four situations in which their peers, the adults around them and the media might influence them.
